In the 15th match minute, ≮王者归来≯无名小卒 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 谢奕思 to maneuver through the defense. 莫挺洲 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 17th minute of play. ≮王者归来≯无名小卒's 莫挺洲 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 莫挺洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. 莫挺洲 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 莫挺洲 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 徐夕城, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 莫挺洲 having to interfere. 莫挺洲 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 徐夕城 was the one to do the kick off. 莫挺洲 stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 55th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 莫挺洲 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 莫挺洲. 莫挺洲 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 吴鹏骏 kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately 莫挺洲 had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but 莫挺洲 made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 莫挺洲 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ≮王者归来≯无名小卒 defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 莫挺洲. The ≮王者归来≯无名小卒 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 莫挺洲 should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with 莫挺洲 in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 莫挺洲 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 莫挺洲 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 莫挺洲. That made the score 0-9 after 92 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 莫挺洲. The goal made the score 0-10. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
