The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 倪扬晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute. Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 倪扬晨 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter 舒 couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Peter 舒 took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Vigil in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, 倪泉真 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Benicio Vigil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The referee gave ≮王者归来≯★疾风之刃★▶川军出征◀所向无敌♍➹ a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benicio Vigil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 5-1.
