Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilbert Podolski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Furgal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszko Furgal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryszard Pilipiec showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gilbert Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zbyszko Furgal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gilbert Podolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 36 played minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Trojanowski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zbyszko Furgal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Pilipiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Kaznocha kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radoslaw Trojanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Pogoń Stawiszyn's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gilbert Podolski made a huge save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. Gilbert Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ryszard Pilipiec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gilbert Podolski made a huge save. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilbert Podolski. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. Jacek Kolbe charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacek Kolbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
