Adrianinho Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gülce Leyla's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gülce Leyla's Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play forced Gülce Leyla's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gunther Stub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal made a huge save. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Gülce Leyla getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jack 舒 hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Deniz Baran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülce Leyla's supporters rose to their feet, but Deniz Baran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 95th play minute Tomas Illescas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Gülce Leyla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
