After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Marco Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Marco Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Pascual Carballar from a close distance when the talented Armando Paredes managed to make a qualified save. ZAFIRO FC's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Armando Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Paredes made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the game, one of Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Armando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Paredes. Armando Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marco Pero made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, ZAFIRO FC's Marco Pero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to ZAFIRO FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ernest Ponta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ZAFIRO FC's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Paredes came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Mastache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Paredes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pero in the 62nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 77 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
