Ronaldo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Milagros Cabal with Sebastian Villa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 15 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Habilirows's Renato Braga. Renato Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renato Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ergincan Arslantürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habilirows's Renato Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Habilirows's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Habilirows's Renato Braga did a great save. Breno Arruda tried in the game's 57th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Renato Braga. An annoying self made goal, 0-6. 61 minutes in the game Christian Sancho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Villa. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Renato Braga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Batista in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Espiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renato Braga. That made the score 0-8 in the 73 minute of play. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Ivan Navarro with Sebastian Villa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Yan Montenegro in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Habilirows's Renato Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Habilirows from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Leão hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of play forced Habilirows's goalkeeper Renato Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Braga was a little too slow when Sebastian Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-9. The Habilirows fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
