After 11 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. In the 17th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Seçkin Ünlüol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Seçkin Ünlüol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Erivaldo Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mcinnes came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seçkin Ünlüol in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Edvaldo Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Neil Mcinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Mcinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense. Erivaldo Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Anthony Alvarado with Moises Gayoso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Erivaldo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-4.

Dinei Tinoco made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Neil Mcinnes. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's attentive Carlos Teles managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. With his leg Erivaldo Catarinense managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Erivaldo Catarinense to make any attempt to save it. Erivaldo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes SANTOS FC- FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Namık Kemal Kadrican. 66 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Erivaldo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to SANTOS FC- FDFDF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Edvaldo Motta hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Erivaldo Catarinense in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Erivaldo Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Erivaldo Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. A sloppy throw-in by Namık Kemal Kadrican in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Erivaldo Catarinense made a huge save.
