Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC U Cluj-N's Mircea Calboreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC U Cluj-N's 曾钢宁 in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, FC U Cluj-N's goalkeeper Mircea Calboreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾钢宁 in the 10th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Cazimir Cosor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 曾钢宁 took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Mircea Calboreanu in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾钢宁 in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced FC U Cluj-N's goalkeeper Mircea Calboreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes in the game, Tomas Illescas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Mușetescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costică Orășan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Calboreanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, 曾钢宁 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and 曾钢宁 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 曾钢宁 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, FC U Cluj-N's Cazimir Cosor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Calboreanu having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ivan Florescu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 曾钢宁 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A.J. Teleagă took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Ivan Florescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. 55 minutes into the game, 曾钢宁 lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Mircea Calboreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of A.J. Teleagă's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Teleagă in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC U Cluj-N's 曾钢宁. But to his dismay, 曾钢宁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. FC U Cluj-N's Cosmin Potocianu was substituted for A.J. Teleagă. FC U Cluj-N made a substitution. Mihai Lăzăroiu replaced 曾钢宁. FC U Cluj-N made a substitution. Cezar Coja replaced Iosif Bălcescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Cosor got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Florescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ivan Florescu sent off a good shot on target. George Balotă made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihai Lăzăroiu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cazimir Cosor kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Cazimir Cosor fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cosmin Potocianu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mihai Lăzăroiu sent off a good shot on target. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC U Cluj-N were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
