Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Ponc Calderona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62nd play minutes Ponc Calderona shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 69th minute, André Luiz Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 95th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Ponc Calderona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
