Ulisses Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jeronimo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Basso in the 22nd minute of the match. Jeronimo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Ulisses Andrade got a free kick in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jeronimo Rainerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Jeronimo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jeronimo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jeronimo Rainerio made a huge save. In the 41st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeronimo Rainerio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guilherme Basso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ:s goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ made a substitution. Filiberto Henric replaced Maximo Goren. Ulisses Andrade hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Aquilino Gonchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeronimo Rainerio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
