Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Saúl Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Fiery Chargers's protests and gave Hélio Malheiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Fiery Chargers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Malheiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiery Chargers's goalkeeper Clemente de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute. Sebastián Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Melo. 36 minutes into the game, Emílio Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiery Chargers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 36th minute, Emílio Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Fiery Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Avelino Amado.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastián Melo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 52nd minute. Fiery Chargers were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavio Mendes took the corner. Clemente de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Fiery Chargers's Clemente de Godoi. Clemente de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Clemente de Godoi made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Rogério Varanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. A collision led to Fiery Chargers getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Saúl Freire hit a great ball. Sebastián Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastián Melo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Melo in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fiery Chargers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Avelino Amado hit a great ball. Fiery Chargers's Sebastián Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Rogério Varanda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fiery Chargers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Rogério Varanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiery Chargers's Saúl Freire managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 94 minute of the game. The Fiery Chargers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
