Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sebastián Melo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Fiery Chargers's Avelino Amado got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th match minute, Fiery Chargers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Jacaré to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Eduardo Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Melo in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avelino Amado in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fiery Chargers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Jacaré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Fiery Chargers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Evaristo Jacaré hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Fiery Chargers got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Jacaré. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Sebastián Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Malheiro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes, Evaristo Jacaré mouthed his way into the referee's book. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Fiery Chargers's Sebastián Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Melo in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Sebastián Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fiery Chargers.
