Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cícero Teles kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Stig-Åke Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salem Gunners BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viggo Berggren in the 10th minute. Stig-Åke Alkvist made a great header on Salem Gunners BK's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Prodromos Britzolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Salem Gunners BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Prodromos Britzolidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salem Gunners BK's Hannes Qvalfeldt got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. A hard shot by Viggo Berggren from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Salem Gunners BK's Stig-Åke Alkvist in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Salem Gunners BK's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Prodromos Britzolidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Britzolidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Prodromos Britzolidis made a huge save. A hard shot 54 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Prodromos Britzolidis managed to make a qualified save. Salem Gunners BK's players were relieved. After 58 minutes, Cícero Teles made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 73rd minute of play forced Salem Gunners BK's goalkeeper Prodromos Britzolidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Salem Gunners BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Salem Gunners BK's Hannes Qvalfeldt got a free kick in the 78th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Prodromos Britzolidis firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Alkvist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Sundén hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Prodromos Britzolidis made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd match minute, Salem Gunners BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Prodromos Britzolidis came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
