Abdurrahim Kutlualp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Norberto Tipi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orhan Yaren. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Abdurrahim Kutlualp was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 59th minute, Orhan Yaren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Abdurrahim Kutlualp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdurrahim Kutlualp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Abdurrahim Kutlualp made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berker Rıza Usman in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Candar SK's Abdurrahim Kutlualp got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Candar SK's goalkeeper Abdurrahim Kutlualp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Candar SK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Yaren came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Candar SK got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Yaren. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Kutlualp having to interfere. Çağan Fazilet kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Rıza Usman, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağan Fazilet in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Candar SK.
