Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Beyaz Zenciler booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alpay Batır in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Cankut Hazar came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a Beyaz Zenciler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. Azim Tarık took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Şevket Özozan fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beyaz Zenciler's protests and gave Şevket Özozan a yellow card for diving instead. Beyaz Zenciler's Şanver Ümran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 30th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpay Batır in the 33rd minute of play. When Beyaz Zenciler's Ahmet Hamdi Sağun in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Azim Tarık sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Costa Rica's Benito Sanz didn't even have to move. Baha Vurgun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Hamdi Sağun made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hamdi Sağun in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Abel Carballo off the ground. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th of the match, Ziya Onur Evvel tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Benito Sanz got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 61st minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şanver Ümran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Ziya Onur Evvel struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beyaz Zenciler. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Hamdi Sağun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Ahmet Hamdi Sağun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ahmet Hamdi Sağun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beyaz Zenciler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
