Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 10 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loui Dyndgaard who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenon Gall in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zenon Gall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walentin Stammerjohan during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute of the match, Loui Dyndgaard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Torjus Solvoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torjus Solvoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gettrup SIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper. 41 minutes into the match, Zenon Gall notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gettrup SIK the free kick. In the 46th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loui Dyndgaard in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zenon Gall to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gettrup SIK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Stenhus to maneuver through the defense. Torjus Solvoll made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gettrup SIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torjus Solvoll in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 59 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Keld Popp. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Solvoll having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Zenon Gall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Gettrup SIK were awarded a corner. Loui Dyndgaard went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Loui Dyndgaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Torjus Solvoll made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Torjus Solvoll made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Gettrup SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torjus Solvoll was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Loui Dyndgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The Gettrup SIK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
