In the 32nd minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Vorniceanu. Felix Vorniceanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Felix Vorniceanu made a huge save. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hector Covarrubias. 42 minutes in the game Jose Sanz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hector Covarrubias. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Vorniceanu saved -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Vorniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Vorniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Primitivo Escribano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu. Felix Vorniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 65th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 69th minute of play. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Vorniceanu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Felix Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 76th minute of play. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Vorniceanu. Felix Vorniceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Felix Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Campos came free, but Felix Vorniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Vorniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Vorniceanu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Paraguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
