Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of FC TOKIO booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tedj Djeziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. Abdel Zaaf struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC TOKIO. In the 15th minute of the match FC TOKIO got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Soltani Belkacem ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 16 minutes, Salim Skif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC TOKIO and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC TOKIO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Salim Skif hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Abdel Zaaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC TOKIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Zaaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amine Larfaoui in the 25th minute. Tedj Djeziri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. Tedj Djeziri came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tedj Djeziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC TOKIO the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdel Zaaf was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amine Larfaoui in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, FC TOKIO's Amine Larfaoui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Zaaf came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC TOKIO's Jean Sadaoui got a free kick in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tedj Djeziri. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Amine Larfaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tedj Djeziri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Brahimi charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamid Brahimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hamid Brahimi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to FC TOKIO getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hamid Brahimi hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, FC TOKIO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Montenegro scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tedj Djeziri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tedj Djeziri, passed just outside the right post. If Anther Benflis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 89th minute of the match Salim Skif completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Salim Skif a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC TOKIO's Salim Skif got a free kick in the 90th minute. The FC TOKIO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
