In the 4th minute of the match RED BLUE STAR got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bacary Roudier ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Corneliu Lupescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Spineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚然军 in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Spineanu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Karol Pierz made a huge save. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 16th minute of play. RED BLUE STAR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bacary Roudier in the 17th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Spineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Karol Pierz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Mariano Lacasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karol Pierz quite easily take care of the ball. Karol Pierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Răzvan Spineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karol Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spineanu in the 42nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bacary Roudier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

RED BLUE STAR made a substitution. Namık Kemal Korur replaced Răzvan Spineanu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Namık Kemal Korur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Pliego. The goal made the score 0-1. After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Meldris Ruckanovs got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dumitru Chiriacescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Namık Kemal Korur hit a great ball. Ionuț Grecu made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Pedro Indiano. Pedro Indiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karol Pierz having to make a save. If Dumitru Chiriacescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes RED BLUE STAR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Namık Kemal Korur. Oier Ogazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meldris Ruckanovs to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 95 in the game by 姚然军 from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved.
