In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eléctricos F.C.'s goalkeeper Tonio Bergada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Eléctricos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tonio Bergada quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Lechințan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st play minute Luca Lechințan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Noboa. 1-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes in the game, Kong Zhi Wei dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Lechințan in the 28th minute of play. Tonio Bergada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tonio Bergada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eléctricos F.C.'s Tonio Bergada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Tonio Bergada in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kong Zhi Wei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eléctricos F.C.'s Jérémie Sarmiento was substituted for Kong Zhi Wei. After 66 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrossi Ciaran who took care of the corner kick. Eléctricos F.C.'s Ambrossi Ciaran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ambrossi Ciaran made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Tonio Bergada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 77th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Ambrossi Ciaran hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Eléctricos F.C.'s Tonio Bergada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Eléctricos F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tonio Bergada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tonio Bergada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Gallo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tonio Bergada. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
