Centenario Bohemio's Matías Donato was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Matías Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Mauro Fontanini fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 26th minute, Mauro Fontanini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centenario Bohemio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Donato. A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Franco Camargo hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Centenario Bohemio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Nisio to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andres Tavio made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 64 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Berterame's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo López, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andres Tavio. That made the score 4-1 after 88 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Centenario Bohemio had won after a very even match.
