Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quilino Gomar kicked off to start the match. Silvestre Urti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Quilino Gomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Urti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Electric Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Silvestre Urti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Electric Futbol Club's Silvestre Urti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Quilino Gomar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Electric Futbol Club's goalkeeper Silvestre Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quilino Gomar in the 26th minute of play. Silvestre Urti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonardo Caton came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Electric Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Caton couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Quilino Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Emiliano Igon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Igon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Electric Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Electric Futbol Club's Emiliano Igon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Electric Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Silvestre Urti, making the score, 2-2. Apolo Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Igon in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Severo Regis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Silvestre Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Electric Futbol Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
