Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Teive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Dínamo Kwanza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Dínamo Kwanza's Custódio Teive managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Felíx Galão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Dínamo Kwanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Tiago Fontão made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hipólito Malheiro immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipólito Malheiro got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute of the match, Hipólito Malheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hipólito Malheiro took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Dínamo Kwanza's Felíx Galão in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Hipólito Malheiro made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipólito Malheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipólito Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dínamo Kwanza's Felíx Galão in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Custódio Teive having to make a save. When Carlos Carvoeiro fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dínamo Kwanza's protests and gave Carlos Carvoeiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Dínamo Kwanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Carvoeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Hipólito Malheiro scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipólito Malheiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Custódio Teive came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Felíx Galão charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felíx Galão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dínamo Kwanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
