The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mert Günok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's attentive Ünal Betik managed to snatch the ball when Raphael Moore made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Lupe Bower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Olgierd Niewiadomski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raphael Moore, made in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of play forced Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Mert Günok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Jarkko Laatikainen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarkko Laatikainen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbek in the 35th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Moore in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Ünal Betik. Mert Günok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 39th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarkko Laatikainen in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Mert Günok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mert Günok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 68th minute of play. Jarkko Laatikainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Mert Günok was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sam Campbell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. 1-4 became the score in the 84th minute when Monty Rogers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. 90 minutes into the game, USA's Sam Campbell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mert Günok made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Mert Günok didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. With a little luck, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
