After a rather tough play, Huacalera FC's Danilo Niguel got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Huacalera FC's goalkeeper Kaj Dahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Ostots in the 9th minute of play. Claudio Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Kaj Dahlberg in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Hector Iratze notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Diagur in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Kaj Dahlberg made a huge save. Kaj Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Aquilino Ostots cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Huacalera FC's goalkeeper Kaj Dahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. With a little luck, Huacalera FC's Kaj Dahlberg got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaj Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the game Alejandro Ezkerra made a throw-in which Raimundo Maria played forward. 41 minutes into the match, Huacalera FC's goalkeeper Kaj Dahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After some careless play in the Huacalera FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaj Dahlberg. The Huacalera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaj Dahlberg should have stopped the shot. After the first half Huacalera FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kaj Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Ostots in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Diagur in the 78th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Huacalera FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After 83 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. Huacalera FC's Danilo Niguel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolando Noboa but with some difficulty. Huacalera FC's Kaj Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huacalera FC's goalkeeper Kaj Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danilo Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Peru supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huacalera FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Huacalera FC.
