Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Lucifer. Farid Lucifer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Farid Lucifer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Lucifer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Marciano Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farid Lucifer. In the 25th match minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Mancio to maneuver through the defense. Farid Lucifer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Farid Lucifer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Farid Lucifer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 35 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farid Lucifer. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farid Lucifer should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Lucifer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to a score. 0-5 in the 56th minute. In the 61st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Arsenio Lucifer sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. 67 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Farid Lucifer made a huge save. Agustín Saelices's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Farid Lucifer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farid Lucifer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Farid Lucifer. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Farid Lucifer came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 81st minute. Farid Lucifer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 88th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Farid Lucifer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Farid Lucifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Farid Lucifer stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 1-8 to the left of him in the 91 minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Resurrección Diabólica Ψ throughout the match.
