Honduras were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Mitschullen SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mitschullen SSA's Klement Naumowicz did a great save. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klement Naumowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundo Espiga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 26thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mitschullen SSA's keeper Klement Naumowicz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Klement Naumowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbyszko Dzierwa during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbyszko Dzierwa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Mitschullen SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Grabski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Zbyszko Dzierwa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zbyszko Dzierwa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Naumowicz having to interfere. Dobromir Kaczorowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mitschullen SSA's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klement Naumowicz came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
