The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukasz Gmoch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Zheng Di Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zheng Di Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Zheng Di Xi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zheng Di Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Zheng Di Xi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. MDS Soccer Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zheng Di Xi quite easily take care of the ball. Lukasz Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Zheng Di Xi however easily saved by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
