Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Zheng Di Xi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Zheng Di Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Solecki to maneuver through the defense. MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Zheng Di Xi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Lukasz Gmoch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Severo in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Milosz Solecki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lukasz Gmoch was the one to do the kick off. Zheng Di Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zheng Di Xi. After having played for 58 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zheng Di Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes MDS Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zheng Di Xi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Zheng Di Xi made a huge save. Armandinho Brasil hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo in the 73rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukasz Gmoch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 81st match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Duarte to maneuver through the defense. MDS Soccer Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Zheng Di Xi, making the score, 2-3. After having played for 85 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Di Xi having to interfere. With a little luck, MDS Soccer Club's Zheng Di Xi got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zheng Di Xi was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-4.
