After 30 minutes of play, SORRISO E. C.'s Murilo Prestes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Prestes was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute, Murilo Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Prestes in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
