When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Andreasson in the 13th minute of the match. Billy Andersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billy Andersson to make the kick off. The nice shot from Daniel Zorita in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sebastian Wennerlund had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Sebastian Wennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 56th minute. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Andreas Åhman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 64th minute of play forced Bispmotala BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Wennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Andersson in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bispmotala BK's Christer Jonasson got a free kick in the 66th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Andersson in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Andreasson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Ted Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bispmotala BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ted Sandberg hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Bispmotala BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Wennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Robert Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Wennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 82nd minute. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bispmotala BK's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Wennerlund. That made the score 0-5 after 90 minutes of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Sandberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bispmotala BK throughout the match.
