In the 38th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Lester Serre came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacob May who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Lester Serre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Lorenzo Jerrold replaced Elias Honrio. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando was substituted for Venancio Piorno. In the 65th minute, Leonides Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zach Harrison hit a great ball. Lester Serre made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 95th minute of play. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo de Sarandi.
