In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Ola Lund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Ola Lund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Sjö prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Garsås IF's Ola Lund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Göran Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garsås IF's Göran Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 45 minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ola Lund was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Lund in the 56th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Ola Lund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Garsås IF's Ola Lund in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ola Lund put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Garsås IF made a substitution. Sven-Ove Stål replaced Ola Lund. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Sven-Ove Stål made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Garsås IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
