In the last second Cosme Piorno throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 11th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play forced TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Piorno having to interfere. Luca Espinar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cosme Piorno made a huge save. A collision led to TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Felipe Montrel hit a great ball. In the 24th of the match, Moises Tafalla tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cosme Piorno got in the way and made a wonderful save. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Benino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cosme Piorno came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Cosme Piorno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Felipe Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Everardo Benino in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Vinicio Porfiro made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Delmiro Estebano however managed to control. After 58 played minutes TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Constancio. The throw-in from Vinicio Porfiro in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. In the 63rd match minute, TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cosme Piorno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Everardo Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cosme Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of play forced TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vinicio Porfiro, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honduras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
