If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jair Reinoso in the 15th minute. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Giorda. 18 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jair Reinoso sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Guftar in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Guftar in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Galarza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Lluterio in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Diego Bradley hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Diego Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Lluterio made a kick off. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Luis Galarza made a huge save. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 61st minute. Kalatakaya F.C.'s attentive Tonete Abaurre managed to snatch the ball when Jenson Smith made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Lluterio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, Benito Lluterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Lluterio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 78 minutes, Benito Lluterio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Sam Campbell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luis Galarza. That made the score 3-1 after 83 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, USA's Luis Galarza threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Khalid Parry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kalatakaya F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
