When Frank Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogelo's protests and gave Frank Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manúel Bento was a little too slow when Aurre Villa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Catarinense in the 7th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Justin Abril to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurre Villa in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manúel Bento saved Dogelo from getting behind. Frank Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Justin Abril didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogelo. Justin Abril took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Quin Camaño fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UE Cornella's protests and gave Quin Camaño a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 minutes of play, Dogelo's Kristóf Földes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justin Abril was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurre Villa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manúel Bento saved Dogelo from getting behind. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when Kevinn De Bruyne tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes Dogelo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvin Vennerberg who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Dogelo booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauf Uçanok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevinn De Bruyne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Manúel Bento made a huge save. UE Cornella's Justin Abril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristóf Földes in the 40th minute of play. Kristóf Földes scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justin Abril, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevinn De Bruyne got free with Manúel Bento in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match, Kevinn De Bruyne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manúel Bento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gonzalo Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in UE Cornella's zone, Ahmet Danış Garipbaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Abril came out of the goal and Ahmet Danış Garipbaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristóf Földes was the one to do the kick off. Edvin Vennerberg hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Edvin Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Oliverios Marcilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Abril saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the game, Xabat Vadillos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 62 minutes, Sebastián Verón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogelo and the UE Cornella players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Verón. After some careless play in the Dogelo defense, Aurre Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manúel Bento. The Dogelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manúel Bento should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Justino Dabi hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Quin Camaño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manúel Bento skillfully saved the ball. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevinn De Bruyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevinn De Bruyne in the 81st minute of play. Oliverios Marcilla took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justin Abril. Justin Abril dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. UE Cornella made a substitution. Anselmo Darroja replaced Quin Camaño. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevinn De Bruyne in the 94th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kristóf Földes hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Rauf Uçanok shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manúel Bento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dogelo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
