Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Carlinhos da Costa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlinhos da Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Carlinhos da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. If Válter de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos da Costa having to interfere. In the 46th minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Moises Fernandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Geraldo Eger made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Valadares in the 61st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Magrina during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorge Magrina hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C 2 Janeiro RS the free kick. Moises Fernandino got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Mateo Leguizamo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa. Carlinhos da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Salvador's attentive Luis Rubio managed to snatch the ball when Geraldo Eger made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. El Salvador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
