Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Kornél Hajdú showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kornél Hajdú made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Máté Marton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kornél Hajdú showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bálint Battai got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Károly Selymes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Szentgotthárd's József Sallói. But to his dismay, József Sallói quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If József Sallói had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kornél Hajdú having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kornél Hajdú was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Sallói got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szentgotthárd's Máté Marton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Szentgotthárd's József Sallói fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. József Sallói was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute József Sallói shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a Szentgotthárd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute József Sallói shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Sallói, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Kornél Hajdú in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kornél Hajdú. Kornél Hajdú yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Dzierwa in the 78th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Sallói in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game József Sallói who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling József Sallói in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. József Sallói sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute József Sallói shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kornél Hajdú narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Szentgotthárd got a freekick which was hit by Károly Selymes. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Sallói in the 95th minute of play. The Szentgotthárd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
