Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Eduino in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Lucas Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With his leg Feliberto Gonsalvo managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Panama's Abraham Alguacil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 21st minute. Lucas Barcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Lucas Barcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Barcelos came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes C A U got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Iturri. In the 44th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C A U were winning 0-2.

Ceferino Hever replaced Conrado Ferrer. The supporters of C A U booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Felipe Ros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tomas Berganza's late challenge caught a C A U's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C A U booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Nahia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The C A U players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
