Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Trpimir Efendić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trpimir Efendić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cristian Sancho sped through Sanderlend's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trpimir Efendić. In the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trpimir Efendić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trpimir Efendić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trpimir Efendić saved Sanderlend from getting behind. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trpimir Efendić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Elmas Nasirović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanderlend's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Juan Sebastián Puig. Elmas Nasirović hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Felix Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paja Gagro to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paja Gagro in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Ecuador's Max Alvarado made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trpimir Efendić was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Trpimir Efendić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trpimir Efendić. Sanderlend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Trpimir Efendić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trpimir Efendić. Sanderlend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Trpimir Efendić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute, Paja Gagro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trpimir Efendić came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 86th minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Trpimir Efendić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Max Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanderlend's Trpimir Efendić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Sanderlend fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
