When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Quintin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute. Isaias Lugo's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Isaias Lugo got a free kick in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Quintin. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Linea 174 Ramal Castillo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
