Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olcay Orkun Acarbay in the 48th minute of play. The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Niğdespor were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göktürk Özgiray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göktürk Özgiray in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the game Bahadırhan Rakim made a throw-in which Olcay Orkun Acarbay played forward. Mithat Bera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Niğdespor's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Özer Akartürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
