Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 3rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Thiago Neves in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. When Jens-Ove Malm came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Malm couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Malm came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jens-Ove Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Malm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jens-Ove Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Neves was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 44 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ove Malm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Jens-Ove Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Jens-Ove Malm made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Jens-Ove Malm took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 66th minute, Jens-Ove Malm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan was substituted for Marcos Siqueira. 73 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thiago Neves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jens-Ove Malm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thiago Neves, made in the 82nd minute of the game. The throw-in from Thiago Neves in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. In the 89th minute, Jens-Ove Malm made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jens-Ove Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Rio Verde F.C CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
