Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 10th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rafael Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zézinho Fantini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafael Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rafael Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Loyola. Rafael Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rafael Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Werneck FC - DMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Werneck FC - DMZ defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Loyola. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Loyola should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Lucas Ferreira got a free kick in the 57th minute. Werneck FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Loyola, making the score, 0-5. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Loyola having to make a save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Ecuador's Agustín Saelices looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Rafael Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rafael Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Oséas Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Werneck FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Rafael Loyola in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Loyola having to interfere.
