Koby Wright took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Long Gang Sen. Long Gang Sen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fura Balizas's zone, Rohan Watson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Long Gang Sen came out of the goal and Rohan Watson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rohan Watson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Long Gang Sen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Jan Dixon. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Burton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Gang Sen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Fura Balizas fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when FC Fura Balizas's Fabrício Lopes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Ribas in the 78th minute of play. FC Fura Balizas's Cândido Cabral was substituted for Mario Azeari. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Eugeniusz Sanocki replaced Olívio Ribas. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gusmão Benevides was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fura Balizas's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Harris got free with Long Gang Sen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Leal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jan Dixon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Dixon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Gang Sen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Fura Balizas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
