The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Montigny came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felix Montigny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Montigny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tours Football Club's Felix Montigny. Felix Montigny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Felix Montigny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Tours Football Club's Felix Montigny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Felix Montigny. Tours Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 22nd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Montigny was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Joachim Migne hit a great ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Montigny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 0-7 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Montigny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Montigny was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the game, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Montigny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Macos Graciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Felix Montigny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

In the 53rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Felix Montigny. Tours Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. If Felix Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Montigny. Felix Montigny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. After some careless play in the Tours Football Club defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Montigny. The Tours Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Montigny should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tours Football Club booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Montigny. Felix Montigny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. After 68 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Montigny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Montigny. That made the score 0-18 in the 78 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Montigny. Tours Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-19. 87 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-21, to the right of Tours Football Club's Felix Montigny. Felix Montigny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montigny made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montigny was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-22. Felix Montigny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tours Football Club.
