Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Pierońskie Hanysy booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. István Sipos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Holger Ettur was substituted for Geovanni Araújo. FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Bernard Lesiecki was substituted for Wincenty Gdaniec. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Ettur came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Lucjan Klimkiewicz. Holger Ettur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Ettur kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
