In the 35th minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerrold Taranco in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herminio Miera was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapsodas Red Devils FC's players had a chance to rest. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Herminio Miera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Camus during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Camus. After 93 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferenc Tököli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rapsodas Red Devils FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chile had controlled the match.
