Jenson Smith was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 12th minute, Zach Harrison made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Britto. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Fathoni Baso came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Bradley made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Monty Rogers immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 30 minutes, Fathoni Baso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fathoni Baso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Fathoni Baso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hartmut Propst kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fathoni Baso went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Rubens Esteves got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Britto saved ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fathoni Baso to make the kick off. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Fathoni Baso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fathoni Baso, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Britto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Britto. The ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Britto should have stopped the shot. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, USA's Edward Mcdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. After 81 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hartmut Propst who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hartmut Propst almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. 82 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolas Britto, 2-3. 85 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Leite came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cody Miles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Marco Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
