After some careless play in the Darkness defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Magdaleno. The Darkness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Magdaleno should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Gaston Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Bruno Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bruno Magdaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Serafino Bazil came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Darkness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Bazil couldn't finish the play. If Kane Einstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Darkness booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Darkness's Serafino Bazil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-2 after 34 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bruno Magdaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Serafino Bazil could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ole-Gunnar Klose struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darkness. Darkness's Bruno Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Darkness booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Bazil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaston Izel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Bazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Darkness's Benigno Canor was substituted for Ole-Gunnar Klose. Rodolfo Hori hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bruno Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Darkness's Benigno Canor got a free kick in the 95th minute.
